Praxair

Supply of Nitrogen Modules (Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta and Castlegar, British Columbia)

Modules fabricated, tested, shrink wrapped and shipped to various Praxair sites in Canada. Modules were shipped fully assembled (Nitrogen Aftercooler, Oxygen Heat Exchanger) or knocked down for shipping and simple field assembly (4 bay truck liquid nitrogen unloading module) complete with electrical, instrumentation and insulation ready for single point process connections. Complete technical documentation and approvals were performed in Venshore Mechanical’s shop including certification by CSA, ESA (Electrical Safety Association and ASME/TSSA).

VIP Piping Replacements (Thunder Bay, Scarborough and Oakville, Ontario)

Replacement of pre-insulated cryogenic piping in operating facilities performed by Venshore Mechanical’s crews with minimal disruption to plant operations. Work involved work on cryogenic 99.99% pure medical oxygen lines with stringent welding, cleaning and quality control procedures.

Construction of 40 TPD Oxygen plant (Terrace Bay,Ontario)

Shop fabrication and field installation of piping and mechanical for a 40 ton per day oxygen production facility in Terrace Bay, Ontario. Winter construction of the plant was carried out within the confines of an existing pulp mill. The installation of shop-fabricated modules minimized the effects of exposure to inclement winter weather with the majority of the piping and mechanical work completed before the building was erected by the customer’s subcontractor.
