Replacement of High Pressure Feed Water Heater (Thunder Bay & Atikokan, Ontario)
Removal and replacement of high pressure feed water heaters and associated piping (3 projects). Work by Venshore Mechanical’s crews included the removal and reinstallation of the heaters out the side of the generating facility from approximately 140’ above ground elevation. Work was carried out under the auspices of Ontario Power Generation Quality Assurance and Safety inspectors.
Replacement of Coal Pipe Elbows (Atikokan,Ontario)
Supply, fabrication and installation of replacement coal transport system piping and elbows for Ontario Power Generation’s Atikokan, Ontario coal fired generating plant. Venshore Mechanical’s crews carried out work during Ontario Power Generation’s planned maintenance shut down period.
