Fabrication of Locomotive Fuel Module (Windsor, Ontario)

Supply and fabrication of complete locomotive fuelling skid and enclosure building. Venshore Mechanical provided a complete package with building, piping, PLC and electrical MCC installed for installation on site with single point connections. A Skid/module was shipped to the site completely assembled for offloading and final connection on site.

Fuel yard upgrades (Scarborough, Ontario)

Supply, fabrication and installation of new piping and mechanical for district rail yard fuelling and offloading facility. Venshore Mechanical’s supervision and local tradesmen handled the complete mechanical project from piping to excavation, backfill and finish painting. Work was carried out for the customer because of performing similar work in Thunder Bay, Ontario.

Machinery House and Steel Replacement Jacknife Bridge (Thunder Bay, Ontario)

Supply, fabrication and installation of complete new machinery house for the Strauss Trunnion Bascule Lift Bridge, the largest remaining bascule bridge in North America. Venshore Mechanical’s crews finished a complete structural and mechanical replacement of the original machinery house and supporting steel work constructed in 1912. Work was carried out under the supervision of the North American moveable bridge specialists Modjesky and Masters from New Orleans, Louisiana with no disruptions to rail or road traffic on the spans.
