Dilute Non-Condensable Gases [DNCG] (Thunder Bay, Ontario)
Piping and mechanical installation at Bowater Thunder Bay’s DNCG collection and incineration project. The installation of piping and process equipment was carried out by Venshore Mechanical’s crews within the operating complex with no plant disruptions or down time. Installation within the plant required on site large hoisting equipment with engineered lifts to safely and precisely place the equipment and fabricated piping spools within the plant.
Recaust Refurbishment Project

Piping and mechanical installation at Bowater Thunder Bay’s Recaust complex. The installation of piping and mechanical equipment was carried out by Venshore Mechanical’s crews on a 2-shift, 24 hour per day compressed construction schedule. Work was carried out within the operating complex adjacent to operating equipment with no operational interferences or lost production. The work schedule was coordinated to allow the new process to be brought online within normal, scheduled plant outages.
